Why Should I Do Yoga?

To state it very simply - WHY PRACTICE YOGA?

You've heard all the hype about people finding their zen, finding their purpose and completely changing their lives using the power of yoga.

But what are some tangible reasons why you should start practicing yoga? 

Here are a few good reasons to get you started:

These are just a few of the benefits that I have personally experienced by having a regular yoga practice over the past 3 years. 

Are there different types of yoga?

YES! Not all yoga styles are the same. The styles that I personally love the most and have found the most transformative are Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin Yoga. 

My personal favorite being Kundalini yoga and that is what I specialize in teaching. Then, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga are right up there as my other two favorite styles.

Here's why I personally love each of these styles the most.

Each style can help you through a different time of the day, chapter of life or help you to unlock whichever experience you are looking for.

  • Great for releasing tension from the body 
  • Incredible for defining muscle tone and getting summer sexy

  • The best yoga practicing for inspiring power and motivation
  • Heals the gut and digestive organ (really effective for detoxing and healing the endocrine system)
  • You will fall back in love with life again and realize that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

The list goes on! I LOVE KUNDALINI YOGA! And I will always promote it as the #1 style of yoga if you are looking for deep life transformation and do a total 180 on your current reality. 

Vinyasa Yoga:

If you are going to do Vinyasa yoga, do it HOT! Hot yoga is incredibly detoxifying, quite frankly it's addictive! The dancing flow yoga and deeply reconnects you to yourself!

  • It is really FUN! Feels like a dancing flow!
  • Amazing for opening the heart
  • Excellent aerobic workout, increases heart rate
  • Great way to start the day
  • Resets your mind 
  • Amazing way to connect with yourself on a very deep level 
  • Cool poses, you feel like an acrobat when you're in class! 
  • Tones the body, detoxifies the organs
  • Great way to meet people
  • Incredible confidence boost - the more you practice, the more you will see how you learn ANYTHING new!
  • Gets you back on track in life - find a hot yoga studio near you and start going 3 times a week to start your new life path


Yin Yoga:

This is the ultimate evening relaxation, the pure feeling of zen, arriving at a place of deep peace and tranquility. I have actually fallen asleep in some yin stretches haha because it is so powerful at releasing tension from the mind and body. Look for a yin yoga by candlelight class for the ultimate experience.

  • Best yoga for evening and unwinding before bed 
  • Releases lots of tension in the thighs and other parts of the body

 So, there we have it! These are some of the reasons why you should do yoga.
